Our colleague Dr. Samo Lasič, together with collaborators in Hvidovre, Denmark, run an ongoing study investigating whether our MRI methods are able to differentiate between MS-related pathologies in focal lesions, as well as in normal appearing white matter. They are also evaluating the diagnostic value of these new MRI methods, to prepare for implementation in future clinical imaging protocols. The scan time protocol for both methods (structure and exchange) lasts for approximately 45 minutes, and is performed on a Philips Achieva 3 T scanner in Hvidovre, Denmark.
