Today we are proud to announce the publication Disentangling white-matter damage from physiological fiber orientation dispersion in multiple sclerosis in Brain Communications of data from a study using our diffusion MRI software protocol in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. The researchers at Copenhagen University Hospitals, Lund University and Technical University of Denmark, led by Associate Professor Tim Dyrby, have used our software and scanning solutions in MS patients. The images obtained allowed detection of white matter damage in MS subjects’ brain tissue that appears healthy with conventional medical imaging methods, such as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Furthermore, the results acquired with our protocol showed correlation to disease clinical and cognitive scores, providing convincing evidence that it advances the assessment of cerebral white matter degeneration in MS.

We are currently running several studies around the world, assessing our protocol in a variety of additional anatomies. Please contact us if you are interested in applying our software and scanning solutions in your research.
