A new book capturing the current surge of diffusion NMR methods, providing a primary source to aid adoption to the medical MRI community in this field.

Today the book ‘Advanced Diffusion Encoding Methods in MRI’, part of the book series “New Developments in NMR” from Royal Society of Chemistry, edited by our co-founder and Research Partner Professor Daniel Topgaard, is available in hardback.

The book is an overview of the surge in advanced diffusion MRI methods and provides a primary source to aid adoption in the field. Written by key MRI scientists across the globe, among them research partners and colleagues of ours, that all have contributed to successfully adapting advanced diffusion NMR methods in the context of medical MRI.

As you can imagine, the dissemination of these techniques into the medical MRI community we believe is of great potential for improved diagnosis of numerous pathological conditions associated with changes in tissue microstructure, as indicated in recently published scientific papers. These changes are invisible to conventional diffusion MRI.

You can find the publication here.

Random Walk Imaging AB is developing a novel proprietary approach to diffusion MRI. RWI is commercializing dVIEWR powered by MICE Toolkit™ as a novel software solution for clinical researchers and radiologists to better visualize and analyze diffusion MRI data. The company’s software solutions introduce a level of specificity to diffusion MRI that is unprecedented and that has the potential to non-invasively differentiate pathologies affected by changes in tissue microstructure. Based in Lund, part of the Swedish-Danish cross-border region of Medicon Valley, RWI has a broad intellectual property portfolio and unique translational expertise in advanced diffusion NMR and MRI methods.
