This workshop brought together members of the academic community to discuss recent advances and challenges in NMR/MRI diffusion encoding schemes.

The objective of the workshop was to discuss the theoretical findings and to identify primary applications for the novel diffusion MRI methodology, and to identify and form strategies to shorten acquisition times in order to make the methodology clinically feasible.
